Lesson 1
Deconstruct a melody
In this lesson, students will be introduced to the concept of decomposition. They will explore how music can be broken down into smaller, more manageable parts, such as notes and phrases. Students will review the Scratch programming environment and be introduced to the Music extension to correctly sequence a decomposed melody of a familiar song.
