Lesson 2
Animate it
In this lesson, students apply the practice of decomposition to break animations into smaller frames. First, they create two-framed animations on paper. Next, they are introduced to the Scratch programming language, which they will use to create their projects. Then, they select the sprites they want to include in their projects, and place the provided Motion and Looks commands in a sequence to program the first frame of their animations. Finally, students select additional commands to program the last frame of their animations.
Learning objective
Students will create an animation of their idiom.
