Lesson 3

Opening scene

In this lesson, students return to the three-sentence narrative hook they wrote in Lesson 1. Students begin the lesson by sharing their narrative with a peer for feedback. From there, students will participate in a teacher-led activity where they will color-code their narrative using highlighters. This will serve as the basis for their algorithm and will help them determine which types of commands they will need to create their program. Students will return to their Scratch project from the last lesson and implement their algorithm.
