Lesson 4
Survival meters
In this lesson, students are introduced to variables. Students will create three variables that will be used as health meters for their characters, such as wisdom, happiness, hunger, etc. They will learn how to set the value of a variable, determine the initial values of their variables, how their survival items will increase their variables, and ultimately add code to their program to continually decrease the value of their variables while the program is running.
Learning objective
Students will use commands to modify the value of variables.
