Lesson 1
Selecting sprites
In this lesson, students are introduced to the Scratch programming language as a tool they can use to design and create games and animations. They investigate how commands are used to control the actions of a sprite, and how changing the value in a command affects the outcome of the command. Finally, students examine the sprites and backdrops available in the Scratch libraries to select sprites for their game.
